I'm going to try and catching some rogue coons that are getting into garbage at a friends residence. I've never used any live/cage traps before. Any cages/sizes (places to purchase), etc. that you'd recommend for such a task?

I use Tomahawk live traps. Take a half brick smear peanut butter on it, Stick some minny marshmallows on the p-butter, put it behind the pan. run a rebar stake through the trap to make it solid. Give the some teaser bait in front. I also use straw berry syrup or honey BBQ sauce. The coon cant steal your bait when it's smeared to a brick.
