Didn't have the my vac on the truck yesterday so I gave the foam gun trick a try . It worked but like the shop vac system better . I should have pumped the yellow jackets nest full of foam a little more . I just locked them in there till I dug them up . Got a little violent for a min but still gottem .

Another way to go, I've found that if you put a couple of ounces of gas in a plastic soda bottle and up-end it into the opening, then run like the wind, the bottle will plug the opening, the gas will kill the nest, and in a few hours you can dig them up, with no ill effects on the plants around it.

Don't use gas for anything but the truck,chain saw ,weed wacker, lawn mower and boats after what happened .

I had a client that found this on the internet somewhere. You pop a screen off your window, and lay it over your ground nest of yellowjackets and weight it down with a brick. Then pour a pot of boiling water fresh off the stove. They called me out so you know how it went. But honestly I think the only problem they had was not a big enough pot of water.

Y'know, I guess dynamite would probably work, too, but most people have more sense than to do that....
