This was one of those days like never before. I woke up this morning and got dressed and ready to go as usual, except that I couldn't remember who my customers were or where I should go. Well, you all know my big mouth. I told my wife that maybe I had a small stroke. If I've ever said anything dumber, I don't recall. and I've said some record breakers!

My daughter put me through some tests and I'm just fine. The memory loss was probably less than an hour but it did get me grounded. Meanwhile, I probably took 10 years off of my wife. On the bright side, I've probably got more things done around the house than I have in a decade!

And as if I didn't have enough fun already, the president of NWCOA called me to tell me that the board is not happy with my constant criticism of their fine organization, which has been doing just great, except for me. ( And, once again, my big mouth )
I promised him that unless called upon, I would sit back and just listen to more criticism that I know is bound to come.

So how was your day?

And now I've got to edit it because I misspelled Personal!

Sorry to hear that. Glad you are doing better. As long as you don't forget where trapperman ADC forum is you will doing good. As far as NWCOA goes I am a member and they won't even let me log in to their site. And your probably not a member and the president calls you.

Paul,

I think this calls for a vacation to a nice warm tropical island to "study" the feasibility of starting up a wild parakeet and tree frog removal service (I believe that would be a business related tax write-off).

Seriously, I hope you're doing better. Take it easy, we need you to remember who to vote for on November 6th! smile

I know you won't but wish my grandpa would have went to hospital instead of pretending he wasnt having TMI or mini strokes . The easy part is dieing and really not all that bad . Go see your friends and family . I just miss him . He could have helped us track his great grandson deer tonight and told us a bunch of old storys . They could have just put him on some blood thinners and things could have been fine . Instead he just feel over in breakfast face first . No reason not to go in and have a few tests done .

Though there are times I felt TMI might cause a stroke, I think you meant TIAs.

Wow, this speaks volumes.

NWCOA, National Wildlife Control Operators Association

Paul, get yourself to the doctor. I'm glad you're feeling better but don't play with it. Strokes don't play, my grandfather went down at 63 from a stroke. He was dead before he hit the floor. No warning at all just stood up from the bed and done.

Paul you're not getting off that easy you've got a lot more smart a-- comments that need to be made, without you I wouldn't have a sparring partner. If there is ever another seminar in a reasonably accessable location with a decent list of training classes that we both attend I will buy you the adult beverage of your choice, probably more than one.
And I'm jealous, nobody called me from the board. A phone call would go a long ways in healing wounds.

Now today was one of those days that we all love. I'm sure most of you have seen the tribesman hunting wolves with golden eagles in Kyrgyzstan.

My first customer today, had a daughter in the Peace Corps, teaching over there. His wife brought out the family album and showed me pictures of my customer with one of those golden eagles perched on his arm.

He went on to tell me that the pictures on the Internet may have been a bit deceiving. The golden eagles can stop a wolf but they certainly can't kill it. The hunter rides up to the wolf as fast as he can and provides the finishing touches. All in all, this was the most interesting and wildlife intelligent customer that I've had so far!

P.S. Do not worry guys; my General Practitioner is a customer and he would never let anything happen to me. ( He has had just as many problems with wildlife as I have had with disease, so you know we need each other! )

After a season like we had, its easy to draw a blank. You can only move at a fast pace for so long before you either take a break, or your mind takes a break on its own, with or without you. Try YOGA Paul.

Ron if you really want on http://www.nwcoa.info simply send an email to Chuck Parker secretary@nwcoa.com . Chuck is probably not even aware you are having a problem logging in. No one is stopping you but yourself. Request a new login and password. That simple.
