Set your clocks and hour backward or just cheat and look on your cell phone and computer because they usually do it anyway.

Also, time to change the batteries in your smoke detectors, run a drill and see if it wakes your family up, change batteries in flashlights etc.
Depending on your circumstances it's also a good time to rotate ammo out of your carry gun, home defense gun etc.
Time for fresh fuel if you have any stored, crank up the generator to make sure it's working and any other odds and ends that need to be taken care of before winter sets in.

Waking up this morning I am grateful for the extra hour too.

Good one Dave! For the last two afternoons and evenings, we have had our youngest families visiting. It is amazing how God gives strength to us retirees when it comes to grandkids. This is truly hard for me to say, but I have to put my last grandson in front of my first mink. ( My first mink never smiled at me, not even once )
