I found this interesting enough to post. My daughter told us we were nuts for not voting early. She only had to wait a half an hour. Apparently everyone agreed with her. We voted today and only had 4 people ahead of us and this was the fastest we had ever voted for anything ever!

I voted before I had to go up a ladder, just in case.

I voted weeks ago but I had to drive through the poll traffic TWICE. Our wise and all knowing county commisioners decided all 130K in Yellowstone County needed to go to the fairgrounds at ONCE to vote. I won't watch the election news tonight, if I see that black mooslim turd winning I'll never go to sleep. If he wins again our lives are over. mad You'll be lucky to own a slingshot at the end of the next four years.

It is official more people are in the wagon than are pulling it. On the bright side my wife will let me get a new gun:) Be hunting for meat after we take the rocket off the fiscal cliff...

Wonder how many doctors will be retiring the end of this year?

My advice? "Stock up on ammo! There's some bad stuff coming!"

Last night was truly a historic even. The last ever public election in our once great nation! Our republic will not survive the next four years of this man.

I saw her picture in the MTA newsletter, maybe we'll meet someday.
On a darker note if I had known for sure the outcome of the election I would have not bought a new service truck. What I would be doing now is dissolving and closing my business. That mooslim turd is going to suck us dry so all his bros can live on welfare. I just might sell the truck right off and take the lose.

Oligarchy is a big word. So is Stockholm Syndrome, which so many people clearly have.

I made plans to start to grow the business again. Now this has happened I am not sure if I can .. But have enough invested so I can really back out now

I would like to hire a full time experienced applicator but not sure anymore if I can.

Including office help I have 4 people now... 2 are seasonal and 2 are part time office help...

This year could have easily have been a record year if it were not for Obama... I mean its hard to say... it doesent matter .. I now have to think long and hard if I really want the finacial burden of another employee

If Romney would have won, doubt this would even be a question

So then comes the free health care in 2014... I heard the fine will be anywhere from 800-2500 per person ... so it will probablly be 3000 per guy... Assuming the fine has to be paid right away I am going to have to raise my prices 50 dollars or more per job, assuming there will be a 10% loss of new customers

Then comes the price of fuel and cost of new/used trucks.. cost of business is going to go up as well

it is as it is... nothing more... nothing less

Truck driver ,delivering steel yesterday, said that he had 2 long time customers-in the last 3 days- tell him to take their orders back. They decided to go out of business.

My wife told me our health insurance has risen by over $ 1300 a year. (for this year) That was yesterday.

Wish we could vote again. My vote would not change, but maybe others might.

"Oligarchy". You got me on that one Dave - I had to look it up. Anyway, for some that are worried about staying in business it may be beneficial to use a temp service to hire your employees through. You can work them as many hours as you want, insurance is available to them and the temp service takes care of payroll and taxes as well. I managed a small business that did this and the cost (at that time) was 10% of the employee's gross. This would be considerably cheaper than providing insurance or paying the $2000 fine per employee.

Excellent post Mike! This is exactly the kind of thinking that we're capable of. There are many very intelligent people on this website and together we seem to be able to solve some pretty complex problems. And we don't keep the solutions to ourselves either.

I thought the mandatory coverage or $2,000 fine only applied to businesses with 50 or more employees? I don't think that would apply to most WCO businesses.

Steve, I would tend to agree but this is Obamacare and nobody knows the correct answer to any questions. My insurance companies don't know and they're supposed to implement this thing.

You gotta pass it to see what's in it. I suppose that was a misquote. Perhaps, you have to sign up first.
