I told your guys about the albino chipmunk. Well I've been keeping him in the basement and my lovely bride of 44 years has never developed even the slightest amount of affection for anything small and rodenty. In other words she has been screaming at me to get rid of my little white friend.

I've been keeping him in a mink transfer cage that I got from one of the neighborhood mink farms. No one has ever escaped from this cage and it has held a pretty good variety of animals. So, of course, I came down today to feed him and low and behold,; he had figured out how to open the door and escape!

Now I gotta say that I was pretty proud of my albino's ingenuity. Unfortunately my pride was overshadowed by the thought of my wife going downstairs and being run over by a large, white, mouse-like creature and then having to face the consequences. Well this story does have a happy ending. My chippy was not quite as smart as I gave him credit for. He ended up in a cage baited with sunflower seeds a couple hours after I set the trap.

P.S. If my wife finds out, I'm still a dead man!
