Paul:
Was that a model 707 crossman that you had at a WCT seminar?
I was looking that model up, but seems as though it is no longer made?

Hey Jerry, you got me confused with someone else. I have a Crossman, maybe two, and a newer pellet gun in .22 caliber and I'll be looking at the .25 caliber in Cleveland. Could be you saw me swinging someone else's around but I've never brought any gun I've owned to a seminar.

Or maybe Paul Brooker I know he had a connection with air rifles and his prices were outstanding.

Yeah, come to think of it, I believe Charles may be right. ( That's the trouble with dealing with us old people; we know everything and can't remember anything.)

Jerry, I am almost sure it was Jim Soper. Don't have his contact info by Eric might at www.wctmagazine.com

I can remember parts more than Paul but not for much longer.

It could have been me but a lot of people mistake me for the other Paul. I was trying to be Alan Huot for a while but I quickly learned that Alan may appear to be a lazy sloth but there is a whole lot more stress, investment, butt kissin etc. etc into being a tireless self promoter and stocking all of tht stuff and keeping up with the paper work involved. I had to quit selling stuff before I went bankrupt. Carol deserves every dollar Alan gets. I have Jim Soper's info but not handy. If the 707 is important I will find it for you. Anyway Jerry whats the airgun question or what do you want to do with the gun.
There are a lot of improvements of airguns in recen t years and many people here use them and have input.

I was looking for the 707 which I believe was a leaver action and has a self contained
tank for compressed air and multi shot capacity. It was for a friend of mine not for
me, but buy now I think that he is looking at something different.

Thanks for all the help!!

Jerry

I believe that rifle would be a Korean Shin Sung 707. They labled one for rws also. It comes in 9 mm and .22 maybe more calibers. It is a very good rifle, very powerful not for shooting in stores. I have one in 9 mm I bought used off gun broker. Darcy Alkerton uses that rifle I believe in .22 and he takes coyotes on down with it. If it were legal here in Kentucky I would probably be able to tell you that white tails are no problem with my 9 mm.
54 classified airguns would be a good site to pick up one used possibly customized with a barrel shroud quieting it greatly. Pyramyd air has many vidieos on their web site. I would want a shrouded barrel ATF doesn't like them but they sometimes forget what the
f stands for. They are really quiet. I would also like a power adjustment as they are so versatal.
Crosman is going to be presenting at the WCT with some discounts and gifts. If your friend hasn't registered yet I have made a deal with Eric and extended the early bird register price. If money is tight you could room with me again I have purchased a sound proof bubble helmet;-)I also hve a blow up doll I mean bed you can use if you like.

And for a little extra fee, if you like the doll, Brooker will marry you and Barbie at the end of the seminar.

we had a Crossman 707 and couldn't find parts for it. Lady said they didn't make them anymore. here is the link to the 707
http://www.crosman.com/pdf/manuals/crosman/707/C707-EVP.pdf

We bought a new Diana RWS 350 Magnum
http://www.pyramydair.com/s/m/Diana_RWS_350_Magnum_177_TO5_Trigger/396

Is great for bird shooting(which is what we do with it)

Hope you can find a 707, good guns.
