Funny glad I'm not the ony single guy that cans meals . Took the last of the garden added sausage and deer to it . Then slow cooked it a couple different times and ended up eating it a couple days then canned like 18 quarts . So good . I take my smoked white fish then can that in olive oil that's really good .

Canned food wont rot when a tornadoe cuts the power to the house. Im not what most people call a prepper, but I do believe in being ready to take care of myself and my sons without counting on anyone else.

I can a lot of meat and produce. I can soup and stew. Quick, easy meals.

And yep, when the power goes out, canned food does just fine.
