If I have one that is not giving me any fits I can have it fleshed in about ten minutes. However, there is usually a hole to deal with or some burrs that need to be combed out. I would say that my average is around 20 minutes.

I cut mine close, I scrap a lil bit of fat off, any excess, and stretch the hide, I dont scrape them like that. Fur buyers are always saying how good they look

Thanks for the sewing lesson. Are you using floss or something else? Also, Been meaning to get sawdust. It works better for sure.

Maybe you can put together a tutorial so I can see how you are putting up your coyotes so you do not have to scrape them so much.

I do everything about the same as you, with one exception. I do the sewing after washing, because it is so much easier to sew and to tell how much trimming on the hole when the fur is wet. Good job!

Maybe it's because your dogs aren't as fat as the ones running around here. wink

Can't wait to hear those trap chains rattling!
