A guy I work with done it for me for $175. I got two other bids on it and they were $250 and $450. So I think I got a pretty good deal.

The ladder rack is next on the list, but I think I can do without the cap.

Nice looking truck. As far as the cap, no thanks. Sometimes my truck might look like a crab boat rolling down the road and it gets some looks. Make sure to put the full cages on the bottom. My truck gets looks empty anyways. The cap would be nice if it was tall and had side doors.

I can see both sides on the cap issue. I would love to see some everyday pictures of just how the work truck is pack up and what you put in it. For right now I am just don't have enough business to worry about several jobs in one day. So for me it would be easy to pack up for the job I am headed to and then when finished come back by the shop to regroup. But for those who are running multiple jobs from a single truck, I could see things getting crowded back there. I have often wondered where I was going to put all of the tools of the trade.
What are the things that never leave the truck, no matter what type of job you are headed to? Those just in case I get a call tools?.

Ditto what David said about the cap: it's a necessity if you're serious about doing WC for $$$. Lettering is attractive, but remember the 50-50 rule: needs to be seen at 50 mph from 50 feet away.

Well the lettering is paying off already, I was dropping off something for my daughter and this lady come running out the door wanting to know if I do squirrels. So we talk for a few minutes and now I get to go check out her attic. 4 days and already got a lead off of it.

I have two caps here at the house, all they need is to be painted. But man I hate driving with a truck with a cap on, you can't see nothing out the back with one on.
