Hey Justin, You've probably got it exactly right; our snow is gone, 55 degree temps, and a high of 4 degrees expected by Friday. Oh well, PJ's on one phone and my wife is on the other. That leaves me to commiserate with you.

God's Sense Of Humor: 2012 was the hottest, driest year in Wisconsin history. Now I'm not saying that we have people having to leave their homes or anything like that, but this is the wettest January in my 70 years. All the deer woods are under at least two feet of water.

Yea its great here, 60 on wed morning and by wed night its 20 and nasty. Now its just plain cold and because it was nice I bought a load of bottle calves. My barn is a miserable place, about 30 of the 60 in there are sick as can be but ive only lost one so far...knock on wood!!!!!!!

If you warm that barn some I might come help feed them. You are cruel having the barn so cold. LOL Wish you the best and hope that hard core youngin is helpin out.

Im gonna put metal on it this year and build some new doors, I think that will help. Gonna rearrange some stuff and put in 100 individual pens and heat it with wood. Make it more like a veal barn.
