A couple of days ago I read that Obama said that some of the twelve warmest years were in the last fifteen years. It appears that he is probably correct and I have no argument with that assumption. ( This global warming is blamed on man's pollution of the earth which can be rectified only if you pay Al Gore a lot of money )

Well, today I read that China, arguably the worst polluter in the universe, is having their coldest winter in 28 years. ( Russia and the Ukraine are freezing their butts off as well ) I'm sure the fur trappers are delighted and God must be enjoying the confusion too.

Paul, yes we are. The cold winter in China and Russia gave me an average of over $68 red fox, 15 for rats and 100+ on fisher. Thank God for global warming as it was a very good year.

Thanks Ron, it really feels good to have people that have made weather their careers to not only talk about, but actually show us that nothing has changed. ( Except, perhaps, our gullibility )

An added note: Although our summer, like most people's, was the hottest and driest on record; our February was also the fourth wettest.

Hey....it is not global warming.....politicians changed the term to climate change a few years ago.

...and it doesn't mean that everything will get hotter all at once. What is happening is more weather extremes of all kinds.

Okay, so we're back to where weather is unpredictable. And that's exactly where I started in 1942. ( I have a picture of me as a 5 year old, on top a snow drift in our yard that was higher than the apple trees )

If it rains on Christmas Day in North Dakota it doesn't mean the earth is warming. If it freezes on June 1 in Nebraska it doesn't mean we're entering an Ice Age. It is the averages that are more meaningful.
