last year i did some in season muskrat adc work and for pay i was fine with just what i got for pelts but have been asked to return this spring but i told them i would have to recieve some sort of compensation for doing it through the summer as to pelts not being worth much. what is your average charge per rat or job just looking for ideas

forget about the pelts, you are now charging for your time!. What is your time worth? If some one ask you to trap their property. thank them during the season.

If someone ask you to remove problem animals tell them the price. $175.00 for a five day trapping program plus 45.00 per animal is what you charge for your damage control service..!

I often explain "that in past days fur harvesters prevented problems and today many property owners do not allow trapping. Some times over population creates problems. In the future you might allow fur harvesters to prevent you having this problem."

My point is don't confuse teh two issues. removal during the seasons for the pelts s fur harvesting and removal of animals causing problems is wildlife damage management.
