You can catch a coyote. They ain't magical animals. Just make sets where they will find em easy. When you flesh one start at the bottom. (base of the tail) Stuff builds up there if you start at the head. Go from the bottom to the head. Have to go a bit hard on the back and real easy on the belly. Belly is thin and tears easy.

Same way I flesh coyotes. By starting at the base of the pelt you elimanate all that membrane build up that occours when you start from the top. More then one way to get the job done.

Im not sure what you mean. I start at the bottom doing only 4-6 inchs at a time. Pushing knife in a staight line from head to tail only just the bottom few inchs.i increase the amount im pushing as i go toward the head. I do the back first. Then the front legs. The throat chest is next. Then pull the hide up the beam and do the back legs. Belly is last starting at the bottom
Sounds a lot more complicated than it is.

I am no computer wiz so I will try to get a pict of the fleshing beam I built this year on here. I have never been big fan of the wooden beams where you swing them out of the wall and end up pushing all night long to flesh. I built a beam that sits on the floor at about a 45 degree angle that you can straddle and pull towards you like rowing. It is a lot less tiring and a lot easier on the back! I built the base out of old wood and the beam is 6 inch PVC. I turned a piece of ash out of the woodpile to make the tip. It works really well. A really nice thing about it is you can throw a bloody coyote on it and all you need is a wet paper towel for cleen up and it is is good as new. The only problem I have run into is with really big coons. they are so wide at the base that if you are not careful they will slid a little from side to side. All in all really easy to build and very cost effective.
I can't believe that cop put me in the back seat when I clearly called shotgun.

I got a tip this year . Take a t spoon at the neck and slide it under the membrane then using the knife as a guide cut a line down the membrane. Do this till you have 4 sections, then flesh each section. You won't have any tissue balling up on you. This really makes fleshing a yote simple.
