I think while they could or would use a forum, they have magazines like PCT and others for their industry and lots and lots of
written info compared to the wildlife control industry. Not to say that WCT which I love (though I am lapsed

) doesn't give us
as well, but these folks have been around a long time. There are groups on linkedin, but many groups get overrun by daily barrage
of product placements, advertising and just general posting of unrelated items. They also are a group who are used to going to CEU
trainings and others that most states don't require for our part of this field. There are so many of them as Paul mentions though that
I'm not sure any have a "secret" they don't want to share, it seems more about grabbing up as much of a client base as possible and then
just moving along day to day. Marketing might be the one thing I could see them holding close to their chests, though I see them advertise
for things they do not do in my area, which seems like money spent with no return, but they are big enough (at least the big ones) to
promote on a wide platform. Funny thing is put pocket gopher control into google adwords and it might cost $1.50 a click, now try that
with "pocket gopher pest" and you will see your cost go up about $8.00 per click!
They defend that "pest" word.
Would like to see a forum though it isn't my bag, always looking to learn and understand more.
