Can't see it being legal anywhere, certainly not in Mo.

What is left of a carbon fiber arrow afterward? Its a cool tool, but I like my arrows too much than to blow them up.

There's no damage to the arrow . It saves your arrow if anything . Not so sure about your target . Thing sure puts a hog down . I bet it would geese as well

I could see it blowing through a goose, snapping a bikini, and sinking a boat.

On a posative note I can see the tool being usefull in areas where an animal can't leave a blood trail, like swamps. Also for the blood trail impared shooter, such as myself. (Color Blind) I am however a tough sale especially when it comes to archery equipment. I have stuck several deer between the eyes, so it's not the head shot that makes me skeptical. It's more the accuracy in weight.

Seems might s good answer for people looking to remove whitetail , hogs , geese ect in areas with firearm restriction like them 5 county's In IL or in city's around me that's open to archery but closed to firearm . You can't just go fliging arrows and have your critter run threw a niegbor hood . This thing here down on the spot . How about them coyote jobs that people find problems with for dispatch because there in the city . This will be classified as archery just like bow fishing is classified fishing . You thing forsure there's dozens of broad head making company's out there going wow why didn't we think of this . Sure all traditional archery guys will view this negative . For my state I can see why there testing hoping they can add this . There looking to do anything to get more guys out in the field and that's a good thing . You take a 10 yearold armed with 357mag arrows he can now put the smack down . Not sure how many of you ever hunted geese on a golf corse with a bow but this would work great for that in the city limits

So, even tho it uses bullets, its not a firearm? Is it using a blank? I looked up the definition of a firearm and it differs by state and fed standards. Most of them, if it uses bullets and has a projectile, its a firearm I believe. Do they make a black powder one? LOL!

When I took hunters safety way back before the war they showed us what a bullet does with out a compression and with out a barrel . The bullet never did anything . They had this clamp like bullet holder with a string attacted to a spring loaded firing pin . You surly would have massive damage to your hand if you were holding it . That was the point to show what a possable miss fire could result in if you ejected a shell after it didn't fire and grabbed it right away to see why .
You can buy a Ramset nail gun that does shoot a projectile with gun powder and that's not a firearm it's a nail gun .
As a bow hunter I personally would not use some bullet tipped arrow for the simple fact it must be louder then a simple broad head . On a good day bow hunting when things are just right letting a few walk by then finally start seeing the deer I wish to eat I've shot two deer min apart a few times . They start moving threw time to fill them tags .
I'm not against people using it ether if it helps them fill there tags . This thing might not even work that well like it shows could be a gimmick . It could save your live if your be stalked by one of them European beavers .
Funny Mike I was thinking the same thing wonder if you could load your own like a muzzle loader .

A stardard firearm cartridge when fired outside of a pressure vessel (chamber of a a firearm) becomes a grenade, albeit much much less powerful than the standard M67HE in current military use. The weak point of the cartridge bursts, the brass case, rather than the controlled pressure release that sends the bullet down the barrel. My question is at what point is the cartride fired. Does the arrow penetrate and fire the cartridge inside the animal or does it fire on contact. This could mean the difference between an ugly but crippling surface wound or massive and lethal internal damage.
