Nope. Not here.

We are not allowed to catch, kill or molest big game. We can not write a depredation permit for them. For that, the land owner can call the game warden and it's up to him as to whether or not to issue a permit.

I CAN do exclusions and deterrents. Fences, noise makers, flashing lights, scents and odors, what ever it takes short of lethal action.

Then I charge a service call and an hourly rate.

Most State Department of Wildlife Agencies handle their own bear and deer work. Some private contracting is done for deer control with the USDA handling alot of the work.

NH F&G handles nuisance bears themselves. NH F&G has also contracted with USDA for two full time seasonal employees to handle "nuisance" complaints and educate the complainants and public.

There are 3 guys from our trappers council that take care of nuisance bears, mostly for the municipalities, but also mining camps.Culvert traps are used. They have taken the provincial bear handling course and are licenced to use sedative drug. The charge is $1000,per bear removed.Bear are transported at least 150 km from the municipality and are marked. If they return they are dispatched the second capture.Around 40 were taken locally last year. Some municipalities have had up around 400 nuisance calls in a season but not all of the calls require the capture and relocation of the bear.

Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.
