Danged spiders there are HUGE and fast!, Cobras, Pythons, not to mention the roaming bands of garbage eating monkeys. P.I was the first time I got stung by a scorpion. Man did I freak out! Be careful out there Steve. Those monkeys gang up on ya!

My dad went to the Philippines at the end of WWII. He left as a farmer and came back as an alcoholic. With the war being over, I guess drinking large amounts of beer was all that there was left to do. I imagine the townspeople must have loved an entire division of drunks. Oh well, my days in the US Army were not exactly filled with sobriety either.

My uncle lived there most of his life. Built a town, raised 3 great kids, built a school, a church and clinic. He made lots of money on hog farming. He moved back to the U.S. about ten years ago. Died a few years back in Colorado.

I've seen they make some pretty sweet handmade guns over there, out of scrapped ships.
