Hello everyone, just thought I would take a moment to introduce myself. I own the Orlando FL franchise of The Mosquito Authority. I have been killing mosquitoes for three years and am starting season 4 next week. This year I have decided to add pest control and wildlife management to meet all of my customers needs. I have been turning down pest control and animal work until now. I am licensed, insured and completely above board. I look forward to learning and making friends and associates here. I would love to help out, in person ,anybody that is willing to teach a newbie. I will continue to study videos, podcasts and articles to gain the book smart side of the business. Thanks much!!!

TMA, you've already conquered the hard part. Everybody passes the wildlife and pest control tests up here. Not so with the mosquito test. Orlando is one of the best spots in the nation for our type of business so eventually you will probably be telling instead of asking.

Your best bet is to ask specific questions. There are a lot of guys that can help but this may not be the best time of the year. A lot of guys are busy as heck so don't take it personally if your questions don't get answered right away.

Thank you Paul. I am a relocated cheese head myself. I was born and raised in Racine. My family is still there. I am just in the very beginning stages, no advertising yet, but that will change in a few weeks once I get the new truck lettered. Really looking forward to doing this. It has been a dream for many years.

Welcome to the forum. I am a transplant from your neighborhood,back when Poinciana was a cow pasture + nobody lived that far out of town (except those naked folks...) You shouldn't have any shortage of animal call's around that area to keep you busy. Good luck with it,lot's of very experienced guy's here that are always willing to help out.

Thanks guys! Albert, what in tarnation would make you leave such a nice state for such a cold one? LOL. Poinciana is crazy now. Over 80k people, and a few even speak English!! I have a feeling I need to learn a bunch about ducks. I have had 2 calls for them. One for getting rid of 100 Muscovys and one for getting 2 Mallards to quit swimming in the resort pool.

TMA I'm a Cheese head transplant also. Born in Milwaukee. Lived in Waukesha, Sussex (Scuzex as my sis says). And ended up in Tomahawk before here.
