Your post to Dave Kugler was just what the doctor ordered. If anyone is going to breach the gap between those of us who started NWCOA and those who have taken it over, it is going to be someone like Dave. He's educated, runs a successful business, and has no trapping background. His only blemish is knowing me.

To be perfectly honest with everyone reading this, outside of a little embarrassment, NWCOA has not cost me a nickel. The only reason that I have been as vehement as I am is because the newest NWCOA board decided to attack the same people who gave me the opportunity to succeed. If I was asked to name the three most outstanding educators in our field, there would be no hesitation; it would be Eric Arnold, Tim Julien, and Rob Erickson.

There are many more I can mention, including Robb Russell, but I find it sort of amazing that the first three people that come to mind are the three that are most often attacked. I have seen all three of them in the past year and despite what the new NWCOA bunch would have you believe, none of them is planning to retire to Dubai any time soon.

Forgiveness takes practice.

The funny thing...NWCOA might not have cost you a nickel...but I do think that getting past this make you more $$.

An excellent question Mr. Kugler. Since you know my son P.J. very well, you have probably answered that question already. P.J. has no interest in organizations and he certainly wouldn't spend the time arguing about NWCOA that his dear old dad has.

Will NWCOA make me more $$ in the future? Doesn't look like it. Will my son make more $$ in the future? You can bet on it!

And I know that PJ understands the importance of networking. It is silly that he limits his circle. If we ever meet....we will talk about it. I tried to get him to the WCT conference....perhaps he will meet me at nwcoa conference?

Dave, that's the nice thing about old age. What anger?

Now, I must give up. I feel like we are the only two in this padded cell. Let's talk about it over a nice steak dinner at another confence. If we can not solve it, at least we can fill our bellies.

Lets do it the three of us in Lexington KY this year on Nov 7-8 2013.

Kugler you won't accept my challenge? Bring NWCOA to the table too.
