Talk to me about yodle. What are your experiences with it? they have been contacting me constantly, and the kid (this kid could talk a dog off a meat wagon!)finally talked me into a one month trial for 130.00 so he could prove their worth. I figured it was worth it just to shut him up!

???? Yodle usually wants 3 months minimum . $130 a month is not their MO either.

Steve I did a podcast on PPC today Listen to it and then give me a buzz.

Yodle can make the phone ring they just have a history of never being very economical . Because they do not understand our industry and end up not understanding you can not buy every thing bat & mole and other critters. A good PPC campaign personalized for you to turn on and off should be your goal Steve not Yodle.

Yodle PPC campaigns for many who complained had too few filters on the campaigns and many complained they paid for too many worthless dog & cat calls, folks looking for mole removal on their faces, people who were selling autographed baseball bats . You get the idea.

Like I said call me.

Dont waste your time or money. They call me once a month and I tell them not to call again. They still call.

They quit calling me. I guess after a few years of getting every vulgarity I know in three languages thrown at their salefolk I finally made their do not call list.

These are the answers I expected. Admittedly I can be gullible at times and this kid probably got me.
Robb, I have the agreement in my email, It is a one month commitment, 80 for organic service fee and 49 for web setup fee. The only harm I can figure that will come out of this deal is that I will have to get rude on the phone eventually when they try to convince me to stay on with them. I really wasn't in the market for a new service just yet. The website I have right now has definitely exceeded my expectations, in the short time that it has been published it has produced 75% of my work. Like I said, I may be gullible, but you'll only bite me once. I guess I will wait to see what transpires in this month.
I have to catch up on my podcast listening, and I will call you.

That's funny they don't even have a history of doing any organic work.

Kind of like a Muslim selling barmitzva services !!

Hi Steve (and everyone else),

My name is Radley Moss, Director of Corporate Communications at Yodle. This chain came up in my Google Alerts and I thought it may be helpful to provide some input and clear up a couple of things.

First, Yodle has provided organic services for more than three years. Second, I'm not sure why Warrior is describing us as "a bunch of liars and thieves" but I'm certainly happy to address any specific concerns that he has.

To put your mind at ease and to show you what Yodle can do for companies in the wildlife removal space, I thought you may like to see this customer testimonial video from a company called Michigan Animal Control - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dgp2ofXY99A.

Thanks for trusting Yodle with your online marketing.

Best,

Radley

Hogwash . Absolute Hogwash .

Yodle has harmed many and helped so few in our industry.

Buyer Beware. Three years of organic experience. LMFAO

When Yodle calls just hang up !! If you do business with them Good Luck.

They do not guarantee their work with a money back guarantee for a reason. Think about that.

They also don't build it first then charge you for a reason. Think about that a little more.

Customer satisfaction is just a corporate sales buzz word . Caveat emptor!!

For those of you harmed by Yodle GO AHEAD share your own Yodle Horror Story here.

Warrior is not alone here Radley !!

I know everyone that matters when it comes to wildlife control advertising thats does PPC and Organic Advertising. Its a short list and Yodle is not even on that list. I am talking about customer loyalty and that so very few keep your services after the 90 day trial periods. Maybe pest control sometimes but not wildlife removal.

We don't sell baseball bats, have any puppies for adoption or provide spay and neutering services. The 2 am emergency phone calls to deliver baby cows is not what we had in mind. No we really don't work for the County Animal Control and do not do free dead animal removal services either . I have more but I am not about to give way the farm to the unproven either.

The list you are on that warrior is talking about comes from a reputation of overcharging and not delivering the services as promised.
Doing good work has its own rewards.

Hey guys....that is not very professional. I can appreciate your passion, but if you want to fix it, talk to yodel. If not, ignore the salesmen.

Dave, there ain't no talking to those fools. The turn over rate on the sales staff is so bad that by the time the call is done the guy your talking can't remember what the girl promised you at the start of the call.

I for one would love to hear a rebuttal from radley, seeing as I am pretty much in the center of this debate. Are ANY of these claims true? I was told by the salesman that yodel would prove themselves to me in one month. Will that really happen? from my experience in the last 3 years, you will not! But I spent 129.00 to see if you can prove me wrong. Do any of you guys know Sal?

I am sure you guys get calls or emails every week from folks claiming that they can make you top dog on google for raccoon trapping....or calls from radio stations or tv to advertise. Ignore them all.

No need for all that. The proof of a 30 DAY Organic Marketing Plan will be obvious to everyone on Search Engine Results Pages anyway.

Here are two tips for Yodle Marketing:

1] Its a lot easier to teach a WCO to do SEO work then teach a SEO to understand WCO work.

2] Win the hearts and minds of your customers.

Steve your in the spotlight and probably gonna get better then average attention now. I hope they dedicate a whole team to help you too. Maybe some special attention from the front office will even do you some good.
