What are you guys using for pigeon bait? I have had good luck with potatoe chips, but they are not hitting them at all in this barn. They have been there a week.

We dont depend upon luck alot but we use and have excellent results with grain seeds here for working our commercial pigeon jobs.

We have not heard of or have used potato chips for pigeon bait as of yet but maybe its worth a try for towny birds.Our birds are all rural grown birds. Most are familiar with agricultural settings and the food that the crops offer. We use cracked /shelled corn mixed with oyster shell mash. It seems to be the most effective baiting material for us for 35 years. Most birds like seeds and corn or a blend there of.

Thanks Bob these are city birds, but they are not going after the chips, I will get some cracked corn and seed.
