Got called out to an apartment complex today, the maintenance guys covered the vents yesterday. Took 2 young bats out of the apartment. They want me to do the exclusion. The problem I am seeing is They have big gaps under the fascia board. Seems they only want to exclude the two apartments in this side of the building, should not be a problem, yet on the other end unit I saw more droppings at the vent. Trying to come up with a good looking solution for the gap. I am thinking a z-bar type of bend made out of matching brown coil stock. Screw it onto the fascia and either use solar seal on the back where it contacts the brick, or tap cons. I would have to get the stock bent up because I do not think I can get a matching size z-bar. Where would I go to get the stuff bent up. Not my idea of fun sitting at a metal break all day to make the material needed, and if all goes well they have 20 something buildings in the complex. File to big to show a picture.

How wide is the gap? up to about 1/2"-1" gap would you be able to squeeze some flex-o-vent material or cobra ridge sealing in the gap? then backing it up with backer rod and silicone?
