Our squirrels come earlier since we are so far south. Think of this photo as a sure sign Squirrel in Attics nuisance calls coming soon to a wildlife control business near you.

Get ready for it was all I was saying !!

In a week or less in the Atlanta area and within about three weeks they will start showing up North of the Mason Dixon line.

The squirrels in question fell from one of the hundreds of trees falling right now from too much rain. The squirrels fell in a preschool playground in front of about 40 impressionable 4&5 year olds in a nice neighborhood. We rescued them and transported them to a local rehabber. Oh all the kids know a trapper came and saved them. End of story!

Okay, I am at a complete loss here. Our first baby squirrels are probably thinking about having babies of their own by now. The second litter is either here or due shortly. I am assuming that you southern gentlemen might have three or four or maybe even five litters per year? Why would your squirrels have litters in the attics during the hottest part of the year? Even our moron squirrels have their second litter in tree nests if it gets too hot.
