So what do you guys do to keep your ladders from singing as you go down the road? You could use some of your foam to fill the hole or your two cents. Or the other maybe my hearing is just not shot yet lol

Or do this long enough that you don't even notice it anymore.

put a bunch of marbles and rocks in it, and use scotch tape to cover hole.

To quiet it down

Foam the holes shut. Sometimes just moving the ladder forward or back can do the trick. Try duck tape over the ladder rack holes to find out what is actually doing the singing. ( Sometimes I play the Bee Gees album real loud )

One of our local HVAC companies has duct or foil tape over the holes. I had this idea one day to put the ladder on the rack slightly diagonal. It looked stupid, but it didn't sing!

Just one of those things that comes with the territoy. My racks have alway sang a tune since the day they were installed. Some wind angles you are driving against are worse then others with regards to the pitch of the noise and its intensity. A bit annoying but you will get use to it. Some times it can be real bad you cant carry on a conversation with someone in the truck.

My racks are the problem not my ladders.

Warrior, you should see the expression of my fellow drivers when I hit those high notes with the windows open. Barry Gibb has nothing on me.

Paul, I got the vision of an older, much older, version of Travolta in the white polyester suit open collar in a van with shag carpet. Please help me get rid of that vision.

Warrior, I would kill for Barry Gibb's hair right now but then so would Travolta. How did you know about the shag carpeting in the van?
