I went on a bat call. And found no bats. All Greys and flyers. Can squirrels bring in bat bugs?

Bat bugs or bed bugs. They look alike. Was a post a couple of weeks ago about that. It had pictures to show the difference.

The pest control company claimed they were bat bugs. So thats why the cabin rental company sent me out there for bats. I figured bats when they said where it was at. I've done 5 cabins already on the same street this year. To my surprise squirrel hotel. Its one story on the front and 4 stories on the back.

Bat bugs choose to fly with the bats instead of hitching a ride with humans; their preferred host is the bat and it’s believed that bed bugs descended from bat bugs.

Cave man and bats lived in close proximity to each other and it’s when bats abandoned the cave that the bugs made the jump to humans.

Difficult too observe without magnification an comes down to whether the hair is shorter or longer then the width of their tiny eyes.
Scientific name of the bat bug is
Cimex Adjunctus of the order
Hemiptera: Cimicidae

I don't see how anyone could get them confused. The bat bug has 27 more receptors in his eyeball and the bedbug combs his hair in the morning while the batbug lets his hair grow. ( The batbug looks way cooler in a football helmet )

With hair that long I bet it's hard for them to get a job. Maybe thats why they have to be reduced to sucking blood out of bats instead of humans.
