services do y'all offer?
Obviously we do removal and exclusion work. I have posted in the past about some of the fence type exclusion work.
We also do some wildlife enhancement work and similar things.
Just dug 1,100 feet of trench. Will be installing water lines to water elk/deer habitat and provide a couple of water sources and also video and power lines to install a camera system that the owners can view "PTZ" cameras online to watch the wildlife.
Any other out of the ordinary services y'all offer?

Question is what services "DON'T" we offer?

I thrive on the ad on services. I am sizing up the house before I am even in the driveway.

Does it need a chimney cap? Are the bathroom or dryer vents exposed? Do I see woodpecker damage? Am I dodging land mines throughout the yard? Are the gutters full of leaves? Are tree limbs hanging over the house?

And those are the easy ones.

Last week I took a customers car to the repair shop because they were in Germany for a month. Sure I had to drive to their house and jump in their gorgeous new Cadillac and drive to the repair shop and then sit their while they fixed it. But the pay was good and I got to drive a car I normally would not get a chance to be in.

I make sure my customers know that I am available for "ANY" service they might need. I have cut grass, picked up water softner salt, moved wood piles, picked up milk, and the list goes on and on.

Now what I do won't work for everyone and I wouldn't expect it too. But it works for me and I actually enjoy doing a lot of it.

My question is this: If a customer called you and asked you to pick up a gallon of milk on your way over to pick up a squirrel would you do it? You drive past countless gas stations, grocery stores, even Walgreens sells milk on the way their anyways?

I am a firm believer that for the most part we don't really make money trapping animals. It is the add on services that pay.

I sell hundreds of vent guards every year to customers and this year I am installing more power attic fan guards than ever before. These things take less than 5 minutes to install and pay great.

A lot of the guys in my area don't sell any add on services and I wish they would let me follow behind them to sell the add ons......I would gladly give them all my animal calls in exchange.

Nate knows me pretty well by now and when I started in business, all I did was animals. The amazing thing was that I figured out how much I needed to live the same life I had while working for somebody else. ( Health insurance, vacation, holidays, etc.) I covered everything, with money to spare, the first year and was quite proud of myself.

Now our company has grown ( thanks to my son ) and I agree completely with Nate's assessment. I will gladly pick up groceries for a customer or almost anything else within reason. I still do only animals and even at the age of seventy, I could still support us. I prefer that my wife support me at this stage of the game and it seems to be working out, so you guys have something to look forward to.
