Please join the Michigan Animal Damage Control Association (MADCA) for a FREE cook-out on Saturday September 21st 2013(12:00pm to 4:00pm) at beautiful Bishop Lake in the Brighton State Recreation Area, just a few miles west of the City of Brighton, MI. Food and soft drinks will be provided at no charge for members and non-members alike. Spouses and employees are welcome. This will be an informal meeting with no scheduled speakers or presentations but it will be a great way to network with other Michigan ADC operators and share tips, stories, ideas and business cards. Let us know if you are coming so we can get a head-count. A Recreational Passport is needed to enter the park.(Cost $11.00)

Anyone interested in attending the cook-out please contact MADCA President Joe Miley at (248) 676-8800 or at Animalprojo@hotmail.com OR through our website @ madca.us

p.s. If any of you out of state guys/girls are going to be in the area during that time, stop in and get to know some of us Michigan folks. Paul, I'll buy you a ginger ale if you show up.

If you allowed grand kids at the meeting, Paul would come.

Dave, If you allowed grandkids, the oldest could drive.

Jim, after my little memory loss, my wife keeps a pretty close eye on me. If I sneak out of the house on the 21st and end up in Illinois, I could just blame it on another memory loss, right?

P.S. How come I'm too senile to drive to anything that's fun but I can drive anywhere for a job?

No I'll be knee deep in Shiawassee river mud because my kid drew a rare permit to hunt the deer youth hunt in the management area . There's some 20,000 acres in the shiawassee flats area that hardly sees much deer hunting so were off trophy hunting by canoe . We don't normally trophy hunt but this hunt will be big buck or know buck . Last year he scored a nice 8 point in the youth hunt hunting the Goodrich area . I'll talk to John and Diana from johns small animal make sure he knows about it which he should if a flyer was mailed I beleave he's one of madca longest standing members . One problem I do see is why would this be held on opening day of Michigans first deer and firearm season of the year . I'm sure this is viewed as more importen then deer hunting by who ever set this up but if your looking for turn out not the best day unless planning a big deer drive up the 23 corridor after lunch but I would hold that before lunch so the guys are hunting hungery .
