I actually worked more than usual today so I guess that September may be a very busy time of the year from coast to coast. I apologize for not making the Illinois meeting at Rob's place but I could see the handwriting on the wall several weeks back.

When nobody posts on here or on LT's site, this is normally a good thing! People in our line of work, tend to be overly business minded. We all have dry spells that we can use for posting, relaxing, and hopefully vacationing with our families. September. however, does not seem to be one of those slack periods.

I should probably also apologize ahead of time for missing Lexington. Not only are we quite busy in November, but we also have a lot of family commitments that must be attended.

P.S. My entire family would like to add that during the months of December, January, and even the first two weeks in February, we would be available for a seminar in Vegas.

Talked to 5 operators in my area on Friday and all said they are slow.

I wouldn't say I am busy but steady and not complaining. Have a lot on my plate with other projects so being busy would hurt right now.

Yep steady for me.
No ground work. It's all ladders and caulk for me next week

Wilkelmann, You missed a good time. Good food as always and a lot of talk about bats.

I wouldn't say that Sept. has been a busy month but at least it is different.

For the third year, the calls switch from squirrels to beaver and it's a welcome change indeed.

Like Baxter, grubbing has started. Squirrels have started to drop pinecones like it was a bombing run. The weather is getting cooler and the raccoons, skunks, opossums, and chipmunks are putting on fat. Woodchucks are eating like there is no tomorrow. Boy, I'm glad that the dinosaurs are extinct. Just imagine a urine post set for those dudes!

Finishing up the last few bat jobs, starting stink bug treatments this week, mole work is picking up, and grubbing calls are beginning the last week or so. Getting traps cleaned and ready for trapping season in a few weeks also. Fall is in the air and I am looking forward to a good fur season and keeping up with lure orders. August and September are typically busy months.

Holy cow bat overload! I think every bat within a hunnert miles has telepathically communicated to its host humans, "Call ALL OUT Wildlife Control...Call ALL OUT Wildlife Control..."
