This has nothing to do with ADC and everything to do with ADC, depending, I guess, on how you look at it.

Our local newspaper recently printed the number one through ten, school districts in the country.

#1 & #5 were Delano & Mahtomedi, Minnesota. #2 was Bedford, New Hampshire. #3 & #6 were Mequon & Cedarburg, Wisconsin. #4, #7, #8, #9, & #10 were from Wyoming, Madiera City, Chagrin Falls, Dayton, and Rocky River, Ohio.

Does anyone else notice a pattern here? My daughter teaches in the Mequon school district and we recently attended one of her pre-school classes. We were pleasantly surprised at the ethnic mixture and the class participation. The parents really care around here.

Talked to a group of 2nd graders today in downtown ABQ. I'm always happy to hear the intelligent questions these folks come up with. Often their questions at that stage of life are far better than those from adults in a similar program format. Smart little buggers!

My wife has worked a lot with educators, says one of the most important factors in a child's education is the involvement of the parents.
