Well, a new one today that I hope no one is dealing with. I'm not sure yet how it happened, though
we are on the case, but here it is.

This morning we receive an email about pigeon issues through our pigeon website contact form.

Great, exciting, new lead, lets go! I email back and about 45 min later another comes through. I see
the email and respond thinking huh, weird time of year for pigeon issues to erupt (summer is far better).

A few minutes later I get a response from my first emailer that they've already resolved this issue?

Huh?

Check the date on the email - August 15th!!! Uh oh, check the other email, Sept. 15th! What?

So that is at least 2 emails that should have come through and two leads for the right kind of clients
and I missed them both due to a technological glitch of some sort.

My domains are paid, I tested the contact form immediately and my email came through no problem.

Anyone have this happen ever or know why it might?

Not going to reach my annual goals if folks think they are reaching me via email and aren't.

Uggh!

Justin

See, everyone thinks that the telephone is dead but it's alive and doing well. PJ does some jobs on the computer and as far as I know, no glitches. I am really the best one to contact because I watch my computer like a hawk. I would be more upset than Justin is, if that would have happened to us.

I had that happen before. I can not remember the cause....wasted a day figuring it out.

We use godaddy for hosting and such including our emails, have never had anything this bad occur, though I can't say they
were 100% sales locked down of course, they could have been and that alone is disappointing. I imagine it had to be something
on their end, but the phrase "wasted a day" describes my thoughts on trying to figure out what the "blip" was.

I market online more than anything else so to have that fail doesn't put a smile on my face to say the least.

I've been having a lot of problems with Network Solutions. I have been with them since 1999 but recent problems include overbilling, website builder tools not working, email not functioning correctly, mobile website went down (they kept charging me so I cancelled it) as well as a substantial increase in prices. They have been under DNS attacks and other misc hacks since last year and a lot of BIG companies are leaving them because orders can't be placed etc. Long story short - I will be changing my hosting services very soon. I've narrowed it down to about 3 possibles but leaning towards Hostgator. Just don't look forward to the hassle and/or rebuilding the site. Oh well maybe it's time to freshen it up. BTW - It seems that lately, at least 5 or 6 times, that when I have software problems support blames it on IE 10 browser problems and insist that I change it to Chrome or Firefox for it to work correctly or run compatibility mode for all websites. Anyone else having problems with IE 10?

Good idea Justin. Maybe she used some new words that I've never heard before.
