Now I've seen it all. Whole house made out of simulated rock and tiles made out of bark. Found a place that sells the stuff. http://www.partonbarksiding.com/

The place I was at today had a mouse problem, not that that had anything to do with the exterior of the house looking like the side of a tree. At another place the squirrel had given up when he heard I was coming. (That is what I told the customer, anyway.) He was hanging halfway out of the entrance hole dead. Weird. Bubonic plague?

Did you check the squirrel? He might have been robotic and ran out of oil.

I hope that siding becomes a must have for all.

There were places that the stuff was cupped a little. It is supposed to have plywood behind it, but I have seen plywood installed that was to be covered by siding. If one of those cupped places corresponds with a two inch gap in the plywood, you could create the "wildlife hotel effect". I'm with Phil, I'm checking to see if the company has any brochures or samples to hand out.

I didn't check the squirrels oil, but I think he ran out of nuts. Horrible mast crop here this year. Expecting a drop in squirrel numbers this winter.

Yeah, my wife was "pest free" too, and then she married me. Now she's infested.
