I was wondering if the 110's would be too big. I am looking at investing in some cages also. I haven't had any getting trap shy from the cages that i have out, is this because they are not killing the rats or has there just not been enough time yet.

The first thing I caught when the Conibear first came out was Norway rats, but these were those big guys that came right out of the corncrib. I have caught a lot in squirrel cages, both styles of Victor snap-traps, and we kind of like the T-Rexes in bait stations. I even caught one in a 32 inch Wickenkamp set for raccoons.

The secret is getting them used to whatever you are using. My grandsons used to have pet rats. I wonder of they would have worked as decoys?

caught my first double in one of the colony traps. otherwise they are working as live traps, one at a time.
