I am a fur trapper but have an adc permit and do a few small jobs. My oldest child wants to me to go fulltime with her when she gets out of school. Do you guys have any suggestions of training other than on the job that would help her or me. She wants "us" to go to trappercollege any other suggestions welcome.

WCT is a good magazine with lots of tips. A couple of conventions a year to go to will also help. This web sige is about as good as it gets.

My oldest daughter works full time in our business but she is also a college graduate with a degree in education. My son runs our company and also has a degree in education. I can't stress that college degree thing enough. I never went to college and could have avoided a lot of meaningless jobs if I would have.

If college is out of the question ( Both my kids paid their college tuition in full by doing ADC work all summer ) I would suggest she work for a pest/animal control company for a while to get the hang of things. Pesky's son works for a competitor and so did mine. One of the smartest things I've done.

If you're really good, you can train her yourself. I tried that and then, of course, she started to train me. ( And to be perfectly honest, because she knows how to catch animals, has a pest control license, and runs the office several hours a week, knows more about Advanced Wildlife Control Inc., than any of us ) Good Luck!

P.S. The one thing that you will both need, is a sizable population.

Vinke, between the three B's ( beer, booze, and broads ) I could have probably gone to school in England. I say, old chap, wouldn't I be the perfect graduate of Edinboro?
