pics of One of my squirrel jobs this week. Squirrels were entering the chimney which was in disrepair. there were bricks missing in between the first and second floor, so they were getting in the ceiling of the first floor. I caught three squirrels on the roof with bait, but there was one left that wouldn't go to anything.
I stuffed a 9x11 Comstock down the chimney and it fit perfectly with no clay flue. I added some extra wires to the trigger so there was no way to squeeze by. really worked slick!

Chimney animals are great because they make sales of chimney caps so easy

Jim Comstock makes a chimney adapter if a standard trap won't fit. I bought one the last time I visited with the Comstocke just in case a Jersey coon moved to Montana. Of course we discourage odd talking foreigners from moving here.

My area comstock will fit in very few chimneys so adapter or noise cone is needed .

That trap wont fit in most chimneys here either. I just got lucky with this one. I will be buying the adapter on my next order.
