I would be curious to know from Sempergumby, if any caution or precautions should be taken when working with any of the synthetic oils and musks used in lure formulation. More and more info is coming out about the carcinogenic properties of the ingredients in perfume and the fragrances of common household products. Sorry if this off topic.

I'm pretty sure any coons caught using his lure wont live long enough to get cancer, however making organic, high fiber, low sodium bait would be something to do......when you have nothing else to do.

Well, the one I am using is a natural flavor/fragrance so no harm there. IF, i use any of the other fragrances I have on hand..they are all GRAS standard fragrances which they say are safe for everything including small children.

smile

Wasn't too worried about the coons. They are usually walking "The Streets of Glory" shortly after I introduce myself.
