I get this one at least once a year. Sadly I lack the heavy lift and haulage capability.

I am old enough to remember when a rendering service would actually pick dead animals up for nothing. ( I believe that many of the fresh ones were turned into dog food ) If I remember correctly, if you got the rendering service out before the animal stopped breathing, it was worth a few bucks.

Penny dog food just off 1st Ave North in Birmingham was ours. Long gone now.

Ours was Federal Foods, makers of Fromm dog food and they are still in business. warrior, just think of all the worthless information that is going to die with us.

Maybe our grands are really listening instead just humoring us.

I get the calls from concerned citizens in the spring when the horses are out in pasture,,,, sleeping in the sun......

Vinke, my grandfather made his living dealing in horses ( Or he was a horse thief, I forget which ) but anyway, we always had horses that snored and now I know why.

My last horse call she wanted me to skin here road killed horse. I'm glad she didn't accept my quote, it was way too cheap.

It cost me $150 to have my daughters dead horse hauled off.

Add a zero for me to do it. Most of that would be rental fees for the front end loader. I got no way to move that much critter.

I could have drug it off with the tractor, BUT WE WERE OUTTA TOWN on vacation, and our friends who feed our critters called and said Annabelle is stiff legged laying on her side.
