How do you wax dirt so it will have no odors. I have the odorless wax but how do you warm the dirt and wax. How much wax to dirt do you used.

I bought a $16 crock pot and it has worked well for waxing dirt.

I added 5-6 cups of flake wax to an average size crock pot 3/4 + full of dirt. You need to leave enough room to stir dirt without spilling 1/2 the contents.

I use a double-boiler system. Two matching metal buckets, when stacked one on top of the other there is about an inch of space between the two. Put 3/4 inch water in the bottom one, put the other one inside it. Fill top bucket with dirt, 3/4 pound wax to 1 gallon dirt. I actually do this on the side burner of my BBQ grill. Stir occasionally, when the wax has disappeared and the dirt looks wet it's ready. Put into either a large barrel or on a sheet of plywood to let it cool completely before storing in buckets.

I use a table outside with black plastic on it. Spread the dry dirt out and mixe in the wax. Tent a piece of clear plastic over it and I wll let it sit all day. Mixe it up at the end of the day and again after sundown. Let it cool, mixe it again and then store it in 20 gal galvanized trash can till I use it in the season. Here is a pic of my setup.
