It's that time of the year again. This is when you try to decide how many chimney caps you are going to need of each size, so that you run out of all the sizes at the same time next year.

What makes it tricky is that you need to order at least 12 to save 10% and you need to order $1800 worth to get free shipping. Last year I ran out of 9x9s and had to pay full price and shipping. I take that kind of a mental lapse personally!

The 9x9, 9x13, 12x12, and 13x13 aren't usually too bad. It's the 9x18, 13x18, and 18x18 that drive you crazy. Some years you don't get calls for any and some years you run out. Oh well, I guess I'll just roll the dice and see how good my guess is.

P.S. Do any of you guys have a secret that I should know about ordering chimney caps?

Not me Paul I just call them and 20 mins later pick what I need up.

The only thing I can do that with, is fish fry on Friday nights.
