After the ridiculously long and cold winter here in the midwest, I was a little concerned about wildlife and pest carry-over. If the phone calls in last two days are any indication, the wildlife did just fine.

It has been anything but good working conditions, however. We had enough torrential rain in the last couple of days that I think we're still under flash flood warnings. I'm glad all the grass is up. That really prevents flooding.

P.S. I've read about all the melting of the ice pack in Antarctica. Have any of you guys that live along the coasts, noticed any rise in water levels?

We have had a record year with mole work and the weather is helping with frequent rain in our area. We are as busy as I want to be and working long days.I am doing mole work while our other guys are doing bat, squirrel, carpenter bees and termite work.

We had our biggest mole harvest on a job I just closed out last friday . 43 moles on a two lot property. One lot had the residence located on it and the other lot just an open lawn area. Never had such numbers in all my days on a residential property.

Now I am doing the neigboring property with the same sort of habitat and lawn area. I dont expect those kind of numbers there but I do expect 15 to 20. But you never know it can be deceiving when you attempt to guess numbers. I already have 7 moles on 3 checks so we will see what happens in the next week.

Living on the coast we havent really seen a change in ocean levels, unless its been so small I havent noticed it. We did have a strange weather year but it was like that every where. It's been 20-30 degrees here since January.

Water is good for two things, Floating Ships and making Beer.
