My daughter's boyfriend who is a mechanic was repairing a dirt bike for a friend of his. Just pulled out a few hundred pieces of seed corn from the air filter. I think he said, air filter. He said, mice do it all the time. It was a lot of corn.

Super-common. I worked 25 years as a tech in the M/C-ATV industry, and saw some bad damages to wiring and other issues due to mice. ATV's are the worst, as they typically park them inside the shed or barn, very near a food source. Air boxes will be completely full of dog food, cat food, horse food.... whatever. I've also seen MANY mouse nests blow out of street bike mufflers when started in the spring. I blew about 10 tiny pink mice across the shop once.... flattened them out against the wall. Old Yamaha 650 twin!

Lost a lawn tractor once due to the cooling fins being packed full of mouse nest.

Pulled 20lbs of dog food out of my camaro years ago. Smelled like McDonalds french fries when I started it!

Had farm manager tell me they were working on a Bobcat farm cart and the air filter was full of marshmallows from my DP's (this was during trapping season)

Just be glad the mice/nests/food caches don't get sucked into the carbs...but I bet Ron has seen that, too!
