One of our technicians got a new job on a lake that is owned by a majority of people that you can only hope will one day be your customers.

Our technician just happened to be off on this particular day and my wife suggested, ( While being very well armed at the time, I should add ) that 'yours truly' should make a trip out there to see what's going on.

Since I was nearly defenseless, ( After 46 years my natural charm doesn't cut it anymore ) my survival instincts came into play and I made the trip.

To make a long story short, this was one of the most beautiful lake settings ever. ( I had been there over a decade before for previous owners ) It is actually an island with its own bridge and all the rest of hoopla.

The best part is yet to come. The owner says and I quote, "I'm spending a fortune to create a buffet for wildlife."

At this point I ask him what he does for a living. ( We like to use customers when we can )

Well, He and his wife own several car dealerships and have over 400 employees.

Now I can tell him his problem! Animals love car dealers and their dealerships. ( I am not making this up )

I doubt that there is a car dealer or dealership within 30 miles that is not a customer.

Is this unique to us or do you guys have the same thing? ( Animals at the dealership, dealer, or both? )

Interesting, huh? Yeah.

This thread reminded me that you guys send the same tech to a job. I purposely mix 'em up. The pros and cons of each style would be a good article.

The car dealers that I have as customers are mostly squirrel issues...past customers of theirs reincarnated as squirrels...
Now i'm working on the next itellegent comment....

run, woodchucks that run out from under the new new cars and scare the customers.

Raccoons getting into the engine compartment of new cars and pulling off the hood insulation.

A customer coming back to the dealership because a baby raccoon was wedged in the front light fixture.

Muskrats eroding a pond next to the used car lot.

Geese walking on and crapping on brand new vehicles.

Raccoons living in the repair shop.

Woodchucks living under the repair shop and scaring the poor auto repairmen.

These are all different dealerships. Don't even get me started on dealers homes.
