Allsteel and Cortland. Little Cortland is slightly taller at spring eye. It's a much tougher trap
Than the lightweight Allsteel.

Thanks for showing these. I like the wedge\ring. I don't get
around much, but I've never heard of the dog-less #0s.

Diggerdale, This little trap was found in Portland Ind. flea market. Maybe 15 yrs ago.
There were other rare items at same vendor.

It's a cool trap. At first I thought it was a number 1. But the width of the base at the
upturned ends are same width as any 0. The pan is readable around the edge only.
Do you think you know this trap?

Hi Reiny, Get hold of Marten1. No one knows more about Cortlands than Roger. I told him last night when we talked about this new thread so he was on here last night. Shoot him a PM.

That pan looks mighty familiar to me. But last I saw it was headed to Wisconsin and would have taken a substantial chunk of change to move it along.

reiny its hard to tell from the picture but your Cortland looks more like a #1. #0 Cortlands are very hard to come by. If u pm me the measurements of the length of the spring and also the base I can tell u what u have.

You were right, those are tiny. I was really buffaloed by the size difference.
Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge.

DiggerDale- You are RIGHT! I have four #0 Cortlands and none of them have perfect pans. But I like 'em anyways.

Thanks that is the best one I have. Often the stamping along the edge is not all there.
