Here is a photo of my steer horn clamps. They came in both the wide base and narrow base to accommodate the different sized widths of the early Newhouse bear traps. Mine are all the wider versions. The third #6 clamp from the left, if you look close, was a narrow version but had been converted over most likely at the factory. Greg

I would like to show you my collection. Here is a photo of my #5 oval top clamps.

# six oval tops
No5 and No6 Wrap around clamps
tear drop clamps
and finally early #4 clamps with 4 embossed on the side of the clamp.

sweet! I didn't know they made one for a 4! I found the u clamp in the box of traps the #5 and clamp was in, figure it must be used to hold one spring wile you clamp the other. I will keep it clamped under the clamp so I don't loose it.

Awesome collection! Does anyone know who makes the clamp currently available? They sell them on ebay for around 50-60 bucks...

hello, what is the length of the #4 trap clamp from the top of frame to the bottom? i had posted earlier today on what i thought were #4 clamps. but at 6 1/4 in. maybe they are no 5 clamps. thanks for any help. randy
