Bat calls still coming in, very late for us. Still a couple a day. Squirrels are running behind, but starting to pick up fast. A few every day now/ Skunks are getting active, along with Raccoons, seems to be a little later than normal. Nice that in 3 days the Raccoons can go on the stretchers...trapping season opens. Locally, just starting to see the Beaver building dams, and we are beginning to mark locations for later in the year. We are getting numerous calls for Fox, and a few for Coyotes, that are hunting the neighborhoods during daylight hours. Home owners claim they must have "The Rabies "...(out during the day time)...we should all get together and write a book, I guarantee I could fill a couple chapters with the crazy people I meet.

Craziest year I've ever seen and I'm certainly not complaining. I can't remember a longer, more miserable winter. I would have bet
anyone that 2014 would be a terrible year for our business. With the exception of opossums, where I'm sure we've lost upwards of 90%,
everything else is fine. The animals that we are getting twice as many calls for are coyotes, cottontail rabbits, skunks, and the
small rodent family ( Mice, voles, and the like ) I'm not making any predictions for the winter months because after last winter, it
becomes quite apparent that I don't know what I'm talking about anyway!

Calls still coming in.... but scheduling for spring exclusions. Still have several homes and structures to "try" to get bats evicted from before they hibernate. I may have a couple weeks yet, according to past records and current weather predictions.
Happens every year.... cold weather hits before I get through my list. Those who call once the exclusion season is in full swing (schedule booked heavily by mid-August) are told I might not be able to take care of their problem until spring.
Had a HUGE church job I thought I could get to this fall, but not a chance. Had too many jobs booked already that I had to take care of first..... and won't even get them all done this year.
