UP STATE NY-Not the city!!!
I was given a bunch of #0 long spring traps. All have a V notched in the pan.. seem old but not sure. I know about 14.5 million were made but what should the pan read.for the to be somewhat collectable.

Look for VICTOR stamped on the tops of the jaws. Also, any made in Canada have a "little" collector value.

I have nothing clever to put here.

Also, look for Victor traps that do not have the "V" cut out of the pan.

There are some really old ones that have a solid pan and a different kind of pan set up. The stamping around the top of the pan reads The Victor. Those have a fair amount of value.

Don't mean to hijack but I think she means a pan like this and a pan engagement like this:

Or maybe wissmiss meant a pan setup like this.
