Just noticed one of my #3 Victor dls has a upside down V stamped on the pan. Anybody know how unusual this is?

I would like to see a photo of your trap. I have not seen one with an upside down V. It sounds like the pan lettering got stamped on the upside down pan. The V would have been cut out first I believe. There is an early Canadian model Victor with the V cut out sideways. It says "Victor" at the top and only "No. 3" at the bottom, with the sideways V cut out in the middle.

Thanks for the photo. Yes, someone just put the pan in upside down when the lettering was stamped. That does make it different.

That is pretty cool.

I have nothing clever to put here.

Does anyone have a plain unstamped trap pan with an L cut out instead of a V?
