hi fellas. I have been looking through the pages of this forum and have not read much about trap drags. are some as collectible as traps? what are some things to look for in a trap drag? thanks for the help and I really enjoy seeing the pictures posted on here of all the traps.

Yes, some drags can be quite collectable. Well made hand forged drags are sot after by some collectors. But, I would say the most valuable drags are those that came on the # 4 1/2 Newhouse Wolf trap. There are photos on this forum of them, there are several different models. The 4 prong flat bar drag would be the most valuable, then the square 2 prong rebar drag. There is also a tight twist and loose twist 2 prong round stock drag. Most home made, shop type drags have little value. There are several other manufactured drags but they can be difficult to identify without reference material.
