Was talking to a prospective client today about details to close a bird exclusion bid. The first few sentences included "I really didn't want to spend that much."

Then the caller pauses and says, "Oh my gosh that bird is bringing sticks right now to build a nest."

"When can you get here to do this?"

I'm sure others have this happen, first for me where the bird decided to show up with a pile of sticks right on cue to seal the deal....

Never had that happen, but have had a few skunks help seal the deal with a client's dog while he's thinking about it.

You did give that bird a commission in bird seed didn't you.

Every day is a gift from GOD, don't waste it!!

If they have plenty of food, give them something interesting to smell

Had a holiday weekend emergency bird call.

The bird was in a restaurant with a high ceiling causing alarm to the customers.

We agreed to a healthy price for the emergency service and when I arrived the bird was high along the ceiling window intersection causing a ruckus.

Alongside the cash register the owner signed our work order, and as soon as he did the bird landed on the counter 12 inches or so to the left of my contract. I reached over and quickly grabbed him by hand.

He said wow ! Lol

Luck trumps skill again. I love stories like that.

I should have put that bird on the payroll.

Lot of potential with a business partner like that.

I have a buddy of mine who does carpentry work. He's offered several time to attach my business cards to possums and turn them loose in one of these high dollar, gated communities where he's been working.

I tell him, "Forget the possums! Just scatter some nuts around and attract some more squirrels!" grin
