Any of you guys tried any of the illuminated baits ( and now poisons ) that are on the market? I don't know how long they've been

around but the ads have caught my eye. ( Especially at night ) I suppose LED baits will be next with more lumens per bottle.

I've tried glow sticks to attract coons, they were very anti-climatic

I don't know about animals but if my stomach glowed after I finished supper, I probably would not be real happy. Raccoons, rodents,

and a whole lot of other animals have terrific night vision anyway. Which is why I'm wondering if illuminated baits would have any

additional value? I'm sure we're going to pay extra for the "glow in the dark" feature.

I have used No BS's glow in the dark raccoon bait and I am not sure if it is the banana scent or the glow in the dark aspect but the bait works very well.

Scent trails whether airborne transmission or ground applicated usually always do well for foraging wildlife. Illuminated visuals may add some additional interest but for making a big impact they can only see so far from any ground level vantage point. So I am not impressed as to their great impact on increasing your catch.

If illuminated visual is good put a trap under a windmill. 10 mile draw. The visual is important. A lone pole in the middle of a farm will have coon tracks. They seem to see tall stuff from a ways away and use it as a point of reference for navigating

Or on a practical note, leave the porch light on and set under it
